Maybe it was out of sheer boredom that I decided to make this page. Not sure what exactly compelled me to make a list of crap I can’t seem to get enough of, but for whatever reason, here it is.
Bare Minerals – I’ve been a loyal customer and fan of this line of foundation for over two years now, and out of everything I’ve ever tried, nothing has worked so beautifully on my skin. The brushes are soft, the foundation is lightweight and clean, and it doesn’t break me out. So maybe it’s not for everyone, and I say to each her own. However, personally… yeah. I love this stuff.
Metal Gear Solid 4 (… okay, the entire series actually) – I started playing the series when I was about 14 or 15, and I’ve been a follower ever since. I actually wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get my hands on a PlayStation3 to experience the newest addition to the MGS series, but a series of fortunate events led both the console and the game into my possession just days after its release. So I kind of spoiled myself, but that was my first big paycheck in awhile, so why not?
iPod Touch – I seriously can’t go anywhere without this thing. I make use of pretty much every application on there (calendar, calculator, address book, notes) and I’m always on the go, so an uplifting song is always a must when I’m driving around getting to where I’m going. Gotta stay organized somehow~
Valle Rhine White Wine – Usually if I make any sort of trip above the Mason-Dixon line, I make an effort to stop into a little Missouri town called Ste. Genevieve. It was my grandmother’s home town and now her final resting place, so I like to drop by and leave her some flowers and attempt to get some genealogy stuff for my dad while I’m lurking in the cemetary. During my last visit, I went at my dad’s request to the local winery to pick up a bottle of wine for dinner that night. It was love at first sip.
Piano – I’m not going to sit here and call myself a full-fledged pianist because I’m not even close, but I like to spend some time with it. I don’t know if I just have that much fun with it (when I’m not frustrated) or if I’m just proud of myself for consistently working at it. Whatever the case, it’s been a pretty addictive endeavor, and one of the few creatively productive hobbies I’ve taken up in years.
